The paint finish is probably one of the most important parts of a refurbishment. The painting must be done to a very high standard. But first we will check to make sure that the plasterwork is good. If the plasterwork has any flaws in it, no amount of paint will hide this fact. We check for loose paint and will scrape this back and make repair to the surface before painting. If there is any mould, we will wash with a fungicidal wash.
Woodwork is always sanded back before painting. This is necessary to ensure the best adhesion of the paint.
We can repair water damaged walls and ceilings. We use a stain block to make sure that the stain does not re-appear.
We make sure that the working area is well protected by plastic sheeting and dust sheets. We also wear protective bootees, you don't want our size 9s all over that cream carpet.
We also protect any furniture and fittings that have to stay in the working area. Don't worry about moving that heavy sofa, we will do that for you, and put it back when we are done.
Our attention to detail ensures that you will have a high quality and long-lasting finish.
We only use quality paints, such as Dulux, Fired Earth, Farrow and Ball, etc.
