Hang stuff

We can fit all types of curtain poles, curtain rails and blinds. Blinds can be made-to-measure or we can cut blinds to size.

Sometimes the walls are not strong enough for fixing poles and rails, especially if your curtains are heavy. So we can fit a timber batten to take the weight. We can prime and undercoat this ready for you to paint later, or you can arrange for us to return to paint with the colour of your choice.

Need a new bath screen or shower screen fitted? We can fit new or replacement screens to tiled walls. It is normal practise to fit screens directly onto tiles, so the height of the tiled section of wall above the bath should be at least the height of the screen you want to have fitted.

Helpful tip - make a note of the make and model of the screen in case you need a new sealing strip in the future. These seals are not a standard shape and size.

Hanging a LED, LCDTV or Plasma screen can seem to be a bit daunting. Why not hire a Handyman to do this for you. We will fit your bracket to the wall and secure the screen on the bracket. We leave the tuning to you!

Some people want to hide the cables and wires within surface mounted trunking or in the wall. Yes, we can do this. We may need to visit your home to see what is needed. As with the curtain rails and poles, your wall may need strengthening. If you are unsure, we can arrange a visit to find out. A small fee of £20.00 + vat is made for pre-works visits.

We can hang pictures, paintings and mirrors. We carry Public Liability Insurance for £5,000,000 for your peace of mind.
